Plain terms. Fair limits.
These Terms describe the agreement between you and Mirror. They are written to be readable, not impressive — if anything is unclear, ask and we will rewrite it.
Write to to@fromperspective.com. We read everything.
The agreement
These Terms govern your use of Mirror — the website at mirror.app, the Mirror app, and the Mirror API. By using Mirror, you agree to them.
Mirror is operated by Perspective Ltd ("Mirror", "we", "us"). If your institution has signed a separate partnership agreement with us, that agreement controls in case of conflict.
Who can use Mirror
You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into a contract in your jurisdiction.
You must use Mirror for lawful purposes only and in compliance with applicable financial-services and data-protection regulations.
Your account
You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you give us and for keeping your account credentials secure.
You authorise Mirror to receive read-only financial activity from the institutions you connect, via regulated data providers, for as long as that connection is active.
You can revoke any connection and close your Mirror account at any time. We will delete your data per the Privacy Policy.
What Mirror does — and does not — do
Mirror produces a behavioural reading of how money actually moves. It is intelligence about your behaviour, returned to you.
Mirror is not a bank, broker, lender, insurer, or financial adviser. Nothing we surface is regulated financial advice or a recommendation to buy, sell, or hold any specific product.
Where Mirror powers an institution's product, the decision (e.g. a credit offer, an insurance quote) is made by that institution under their own policy. Mirror is the reading; the decision is theirs.
Acceptable use
Do not attempt to access another person's account, reverse-engineer Mirror, scrape the service, or interfere with its operation.
Do not use Mirror to make decisions that violate fair-lending, anti-discrimination, or data-protection law.
Do not redistribute Mirror readings or derived signals to third parties without our written agreement.
API and partner use
API access is granted under a separate Partner Agreement that defines rate limits, data residency, regulated-use scope, and audit obligations.
Partners must use Mirror readings fairly: no proxy discrimination, no resale, no use outside the scope agreed.
We may suspend access if we reasonably believe use is unlawful, unsafe, or outside scope, and we will tell you why.
Intellectual property
Mirror, the Mirror mark, the behavioural-reading model, and the software are owned by Perspective Ltd.
You retain ownership of your data and the readings derived from it. We hold a limited licence to process them solely to operate Mirror for you.
Aggregate, anonymised insights derived from many readings remain ours and may be used to improve the service.
Liability
Mirror is provided as-is and as-available. We work hard to be accurate and reliable, but we cannot guarantee that every reading or signal will be free of error.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Mirror is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses. Our total liability in any twelve-month period is capped at the greater of (a) the fees you paid us in that period, or (b) £100.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability for fraud, gross negligence, or anything that cannot be limited under applicable law.
Ending the agreement
You can stop using Mirror and delete your account at any time, from the app or by writing to us.
We may suspend or end access if you materially breach these Terms, with notice where possible.
On termination, Sections 07 (IP), 08 (Liability), and 11 (Disputes) survive.
Changes
We may update these Terms as Mirror evolves. For material changes, we will tell you before they take effect. The version date below always reflects the current Terms.
Disputes and governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Disputes will be heard in the courts of England and Wales, unless mandatory consumer-protection law in your country gives you a different right.
Before going to court, write to us at to@fromperspective.com. We will try to resolve things directly first.
